Identity.
The ever mysterious identity. It’s been a ruse that has always baffled me since
I have been finding one myself. The quest begins right when you start being in
a crowd, and yes! 3’s considered a crowd.
The
paradox in human nature to want to fit in & not to be singled out, while at
the same time to want to stand out, to be unique enough to be noticed is
intriguing, fascinating. Oddly enough we find comfort in the adaptation in our
surrounding environment & the knowingness of being one of them. It’s
strange that we often desire both, with the same intensity & passion. If
there were no societal pressure, who do you think we’d really be? Would we
recognize ourselves then? Or would that be the start of our journey in truly
finding out who we are.
People
spend a lifetime just finding the right balance. And then suddenly you meet
someone who has the courage of conviction, who doesn’t give a damn to fit in,
someone who is free-spirited. Meeting such a person inspires us to find
ourselves.
